Well there should have been.
Near the end of October, I did a short talk to Forres Rotary Club and in the last week in November I helped out at a Dark Sky Scotland event.
My name is Bill Leslie and I live in Moray in the north of Scotland. I have been interested in astronomy since 1996. I am a member of Moray's Astronomy Club, Sigma and of the Highlands Astronomical Society.
My main astronomy interests are the Sun, I own a Coronado PST; the Moon which I have just begun to image with a webcam; and the deep sky, where I enjoy hunting down faint objects with my Helios 8" Dobsonian.
I've had a great time doing astronomy outreach locally and around the north of Scotland for the Dark Sky Scotland project. I have also been able to give talks and workshops at the Orkney Science Festival and the Highland Science Festival.
